it is not unusual for the burners to not show in the bios of some of the
Abit boards but the drives are usually declared at boot time. just be sure
that the IDE channels are set for Auto for mode and detection in the bios
screens and from there, you should be able to set the IDE Primary and
Secondary channels in Device Manager for DMA if available on the Advanced
Settings tab in Device Manager.
If you don't see those settings being available, then you may need to delete
the IDE channels and allow them to be redetected upon reboot and then they
should show the settings available on the Advanced tab in Device Manager.
